Who We Are

Double Exposure: Photography by Dad & Daughter,
began in 2002 when I (Dennis) began photographing weddings with my daughter, Zoë. Ten years and dozens of weddings later, it seemed like the right time to shift gears.

Now known simply as Double Exposure Photography, I am available to photograph for families and businesses as well as schools and community events. I also offer courses designed to help you lift your skills and abilities as a photographer.

Inspired by the words of Emily Carr, I want the big thing but even if it never comes satisfactorily in paint, the trying for it is worthwhile, I’m all about the journey of learning, expressing and sharing as a photographer. Photography is a lifelong passion because it satisfies my need to create.

Recently retired from my ‘real job’ as a school principal, I am loving this phase of life where I can be with my wife and family, including our five perfect grandchildren, travel, ride my motorcycle and photograph. Life is abundantly full.
