double-exposure-head-shots-2When Daniel asked about some headshots for his personal website, he had another agenda in mind. His friend Andrea was learning about photography and wanted to try her hand at it. They had a session together in Fort Langley one evening and, in spite of the dark and cold, created some cool shots together. When it was time for a follow-up session, the three of us met for coffee and worked out a plan. Andrea was the shooter, Daniel did an awesome job as model and I got to be the coach. Finding locations in Fort Langley was an easy thing to do. Within just an hour, we had found a number of suitable spots and Andrea captured dozens of headshots of our cooperative model. And in the process, she learned a little about where to place her focus, how to create a suitable  background and a few principles of composition. Daniel got his headshots, Andrea had a photography lesson and I had a great big grin from being with these two young people.
